Transfer of rights
STEF encourages music creators in Iceland to grant to STEF an authorisation to guard the copyright of their musical composistions This includes granting of exclusive authorisation to guard the copyright in terms of public performance, sound recordings, copying and “droit moral”. This transfer of rights gives STEF the right and exlusive authorisation to institute proceedings against any person infringing these rights, to collect royalties for performance and to take any measure in fact or in law, which might prove necessary in order to protect these rights.
